BAR PARTIES FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
| IS THERE ANY FEES FOR BAR PARTIES? |
A bartender fee of $150 is required for each bartender at the event. |
| HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ONE BARTENDER SERVE? |
We recommend one bartender for every 75 people who are attending an event. If you choose not to pay for more than one bartender, service may be delayed if the event has more than 75 guests. |
| WHAT IF MY GUEST COUNT INCREASES? |
We cannot provide more bartenders at the time of the event. Bartenders need to added with at least a two day notice prior to the event. |
| IS THERE A TIME LIMIT ON BAR PARTIES? |
3 hours, unless management agrees to extend the event. |
| IS THERE ANY FORMS I NEED TO SIGN? |

| IS THERE SEATING AND TABLES AT BAR PARTIES? |
Yes, we provide seating and tables for approximately 25 people and some tenting. |
| WHAT IF IT RAINS? |
if it should rain, bar parties are moved under the covered area. |
| CAN AN EVENT BE CANCELLED? |
For bar parties without food the event must cancel the day before, otherwise the bartender fee is not refundable. For bar parties with food the event must cancel 48 hours in advance to receive a refund, except for weekend events when cancellation must be received the thursday before the event. |
| CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN DECORATIONS? |
Yes, but they must clean up those decorations at the end of the event. |
| CAN A HOST PLAY THEIR OWN MUSIC? |
No, unless the event closes the entire restaurant. The Boat Basin Cafe plays music through loudspeakers located around the restaurant offering a variety of satellite radio stations. |
| CAN I BRING IN MY OWN CAKE? |
Yes. A $1.50 plate charge per person will be assesed if the event does not provide their own plates and utensils. |
| HOW DO OUR GUESTS IDENTIFY THE PARTY AREA? |
We provide signage. When booking your party, please let the catering manager know what the signage should read. |
| HOW WILL YOUR STAFF IDENTIFY OUR GUESTS? |
All guests must wear some form of identification. We provide wristbands at no additional cost. The other acceptable form of identification are name tags or company ID cards which must be visibly worn. |
| DO YOU HAVE PRIVATE SPACES FOR BAR PARTIES? |
No. We are a large open area restaurant with no walls or doors. Wwe are in a public park and can not stop people from walking through the restaurant. |
