BBQ MENU FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU OFFER SEATING IN YOUR OUTSIDE PATIO AREA FOR PRIVATE PARTIES?

No, unless the host closes the entire restaurant.

ARE GUESTS ALLOWED TO BRING IN THEIR OWN DECORATIONS?

Yes, but they must clean up those decorations at the end of the event.

CAN A HOST PLAY THEIR OWN MUSIC?

No, unless the event closes the entire restaurant. The Boat Basin Cafe plays music through loudspeakers located around the restaurant offering a variety of satellite radio stations.

CAN I BRING MY OWN CAKE?

Yes. A $1.50 plate charge per person will be assesed if the event does not provide their own plates and utensils.

HOW DO OUR GUESTS IDENTIFY THE PARTY AREA?

We provide signage. When booking your party, please let the catering manager know what the signage should read.

HOW WILL YOUR STAFF IDENTIFY OUR GUESTS?

All guests must wear some form of identification. We provide wristbands at no additional cost.

DO YOU HAVE PRIVATE SPACES FOR BBQ PARTIES?

No. We are a large open area restaurant with no walls or doors. We do chain off parties as best as possible; however, we are in a public park and can not stop people from walking through the restaurant.

WERE ARE BBQ PARTIES HELD?

All BBQ parties are held under the covered area (rotunda) at the south end of the restaurant. We do not provide seating on our outdoor patio for BBQ parties.

WHAT TYPE OF BAR ARRANGEMENTS DO YOU REQUIRE FOR BBQ PARTIES?

All BBQ parties must have a bar on consumption or a bar on an hourly basis. We do not allow cash bars at BBQ events,
